@sell_dalton@BehindTheBucks Since the league has made tanking a non-starter and the Bucks don’t have their immediate draft assets after this year, it makes sense to move in a competitive direction. There are enough useful assets on the squad to rearrange them in deals to help build a team around Brown.
@sell_dalton If the offers for Giannis aren’t great, send Turner and 10 to New Orleans. Follow it up with trading for Morant (even if it costs Rollins).
@Peter_Bukowski Understandably Watson is probably asking for more than Alec Pierce received. Does it make sense to sign any receiver, who is not elite, to a contract of over $30 million AAV? That would be difficult.
@AndyHermanNFL As the team faces plenty of potential turnover at receiver, Jauan Jennings could be a strong value at receiver. He could open the door for a Wicks or Reed trade, too.
@danorlovsky7 Coming in to today offensive line would’ve been a fair argument. Now their starting five is crystal clear and will add depth through the draft. Defensive line is quite clearly the biggest need on the roster now.
@notbobkoz They’re moving forward with a cohesive group of five for possibly the next three years. Moving guys all over during camp clearly has not led to the desired results. Morgan, Rhyan and Belton know where they’ll be playing and can focus on their craft at those positions.
@wendellfp Rhyan seemed to play better at center than he did guard so I don’t buy a potential switch back. Packers will look at day two guys with extensive experience at left tackle and then move that guy/guys around during camp as insurance for the line.
@Peter_Bukowski Between yesterday’s trade and this morning’s signing, Gutey has taken two necessary steps to allow himself to draft best player available in April.
@MySportsUpdate There’s not much to figure out since Jenkins was out most of the year. Morgan/Banks/Rhyan/Belton/Tom will be the starting line as of right now. Packers are prepared for this transition.
Packers have enough deficiency in the trenches where a quality option along the lines needs to be their selection at 52. Watson and Kraft will get extensions in the offseason, last year’s first was spent on receiver, and there’s enough depth to not spend another key resource on a pass catcher.
