🐬🧡💚 DOLPHINS FANS — THIS IS WHAT COMMUNITY IS ALL ABOUT!

We wanted to take a moment to recognize some incredible members of the Dolphins community who came together to make something special happen for a mother and her young son.

What started with a simple Instagram connection between our nonprofit, Dads Figure It Out (DFIO) Foundation, and Sammy Sakioka of SKNE Consulting Group turned into something much bigger.

Sammy reached out from Arizona about a mother and son in New Jersey who could use a special experience.

Our goal? Help them attend their first NFL game together — Dolphins vs. Jets at MetLife Stadium this Sunday! 🏈

We reached out to the Dolphins fan community, and the response reminded us why this fanbase is so special.

🐬 Carmelo “Mel” Sereno suggested connecting with Dolfans NYC.

🐬 Danny Johnson stepped in and tagged someone who could help.

🐬 Nate Igor Smith of Dolfans NYC responded with four simple words:

“Yup. We got you.”

Just like that, TWO game tickets were gifted for this mother and son! 🙌

And the generosity didn’t stop there. Another Dolphins fan is gifting this young boy a Dan Marino jersey!

Different people. Different states. One Dolphins community coming together for a family most have never even met.

THIS is what being a Dolphins fan is all about. 🧡💚

A milestone for DFIO’s Game Day Experience program. 🇺🇸🏒

This Sunday, two Veterans will experience a Tampa Bay Lightning game through our first Veteran-focused GDEs!

These experiences are being coordinated through our newly formed partnerships with Florida Veterans Coalition and Club-214 Land & Sea—two organizations helping us connect with Veterans who can benefit from a memorable day away and the opportunity to simply enjoy the experience.

This is exactly why we continue expanding the Game Day Experience program: different people, different circumstances, one opportunity to create a lasting memory through sports.

We’re grateful to both organizations for trusting DFIO as we begin serving more Veterans through GDEs.
