@younghavok No it fuckin isn't. We control the norms in gaming with our wallets. These companies will continue to take whatever they can get away with. It's not a matter of if we can put down $20, it's about letting Nintendo think it's over to take advantage of their fanbase.
@JuiceMan_V I don't think anyone's argument is about affordability. We shouldn't be paying any amount of money for a rom that Nintendo has ripped from one of the many rom sites they've shut down. It's a shitty norm to be okay with.
@andresmxrtinez I guess it's just the fact that they can play any of those games whenever they want. And they don't have to wait years for Nintendo to release them all at $20 each.
@SplashPlateVGC Oh remake? If it's an actual remake they put work into and it's not just a port then that seems reasonable. The fire red and leaf green they're putting out are absolutely not remakes. They're roms.
@SplashPlateVGC Hard disagree. Paying so much for a rom that Nintendo copied and pasted to the switch is enabling problematic strategies.Showing these big companies it's okay to take advantage of their fanbase by paying way too much for something they put 0 work into is completely unacceptable.
