It’s been tough being on social media the past couple of days. My own family, like thousands of Palestinians, was ethnically cleansed by Israel 75 years ago, and was denied the right of return to Palestine.

For 75 years, Israel has forcibly displaced entire Palestinian communities, denying them their fundamental human rights, expanding illegal settlements, and continuing to follow policies and practices that are in flagrant human rights violation.

So where do I stand on this issue? My support has always been and will continue to be unequivocally and unapologetically with the Palestinian people.
