I am excited to share my participation in the recently concluded @NUPRCofficial workshop on Refresher Training and Orientation Programme for Mediators, organized by the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) for the Body of Neutrals of the Upstream Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre (ADRC).

The workshop provided an invaluable platform to deepen our understanding of mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms within Nigeria's upstream oil and gas sector.

This engaging programme brought together industry experts, mediators, and stakeholders to enhance skills, share best practices, and foster collaboration in resolving disputes efficiently and amicably.

The sessions were insightful, covering critical topics. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to and learn from this impactful initiative.

I look forward to applying the knowledge gained to advance effective dispute resolution practices and support sustainable growth in Nigeria's upstream petroleum industry.

It was a privilege to speak at Day 1 of SAIPEC 2025, themed Navigating the NEXT where I highlighted the crucial role of digitalization in transforming the oil & gas sector.

NEXT looks at industry's evolution ranging from capacity building to reducing production costs, even as we continue to embrace innovation and efficiency to remain competitive.

I also touched on hydrocarbon accounting and processing, sustainability and ESG regulations, and the importance of increasing global competitiveness to strengthen local capacity.

The future of Africa’s energy industry depends on collaboration, adaptability, and forward-thinking solutions. Looking forward to further discussions as we drive the sector forward!

We had the privilege of hosting a strategic seminar with @ITTBornemann on Eliminating Flaring & Reducing CAPEX in Production Fields, with a focus on Multiphase Pumps.

With key Oil & Gas stakeholders and the German Embassy in attendance, the discussions reinforced the urgency of collective action in tackling climate challenges. I emphasized the need for industry players to balance economic growth with environmental responsibility: "By adopting cutting-edge flare gas recovery technologies, we can transform environmental challenges into economic opportunities—driving sustainability while aligning with global best practices."

I'm thrilled to share that @Siemens CEO, Sabine Dall'Omo and I, have taken a significant step towards modernizing Nigeria's electric power infrastructure. We recently signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding with Siemens to collaborate on the provision of Meter Data Management Systems.

This partnership is a result of our shared commitment to advancing grid automation and smart infrastructure solutions. I believe this collaboration will play a pivotal role in addressing Nigeria's electricity challenges, laying the foundation for sustainable economic growth and technological progress across the region.

The signing ceremony was attended by notable figures, including His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Johannes Lehne, Deputy Head of Mission, German Embassy, and Aisha Rimi, CEO of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (@nipcng ).

I had the privilege of leading a delegation to meet with @KashifuInuwa CCIE, the Director General/CEO of @NITDANigeria for a very productive discussion on how we can work together to accelerate Nigeria's digital transformation.

This visit marks the beginning of a strong partnership between @PanaHoldings and NITDA, with a shared focus on driving Nigeria’s tech future through digital literacy and innovation. We are committed to helping Nigeria achieve 95% digital literacy by 2030, ensuring that technology is accessible and inclusive for all.

We’ll also be working closely with NITDA on strengthening the digital ecosystem through the agency’s 8 key pillars—fostering digital literacy, advancing tech research, and strengthening policies that support sustainable growth in the tech sector.

We will be focusing on key initiatives, such as providing digital training and cultivating talent through collaborations with formal education programs, teacher training, and the NYSC. We’re also committed to building a robust technology research ecosystem, particularly in emerging fields like AI, IoT, and Blockchain.

Equally important is our work in strengthening the policy and legal frameworks that will support the digital infrastructure Nigeria needs to succeed, including establishing data centers, promoting cloud services, and developing guidelines to expand connectivity.

I had a strategic meeting with Engr. Abdullahi Kassim, Executive Director (Generation) @ndphconline, alongside @PanaHoldings partner and Area Sales Manager of Thomassen Energy BV, Mr. Cihan Altunbay.

We discussed PANA Holdings-Thomassen Energy's plan to enhance NDPHC's power plant efficiency using innovative technologies, such as flexible turbine parts, retrofit combustion systems, and remote monitoring amongst others, to optimize power generation.

With PANA Holdings integrated services and industry expertise, I'm confident we'll support NDPHC's sustainable energy vision.
