“No.. no.. and no.”

She answered and fidgeted a bit.

“I.. just wanted to see if you want to hang out..”

[𝕿𝖍𝖔𝖗𝖓𝖘 @UnlikeStrife]

“Are you sure…? I noticed you were staring at me for quite a bit of time..”

He walks up to her as he crossed his arms.

“I’m just curious is all…was there something on my face or maybe I was just blocking your view..?”

[⸻ Ｓｕｒｔｒ @Daeth_Eater]

Surtr blinked in shock! Oh no, was she caught staring at him?! This was embarrassing..

She looked away with a small blush.

“N-No..?”

[𝕿𝖍𝖔𝖗𝖓𝖘 @UnlikeStrife]

He glanced over to his right and spotted Surtr staring at him…

He didn’t know what she want d or if she wanted anything from him but he decided to walk over to her instead to greet her..

“Is there something that you want from me..?”

[⸻ Ｓｕｒｔｒ @Daeth_Eater]

@UnlikeStrife

Surtr spotted Thorns and just stared..

She was debating on approaching him him but just instead she stayed quiet. Quietly observing him.

“…”

[⸻ Ｓｕｒｔｒ @Daeth_Eater]

This little girl nodded softly.

“I’ll walk what I can, but if I get tired he’ll carry me.”

She glanced at the golem then at him.

“So you are hoping for a dragon guardian? That’s so cool!”

She smiled happily

“My mama would read bedtime stories about them.”

[「 雷魔神 - リョン 」 @UNMEINOKISHIN]

"But.. but my home is a little far. Are you sure you're willing to walk that much? You might not be able to walk that far.."

He says out of concern, before looking to the golem.

"Then again, he could probably carry you, right? It shouldn't be too much to worry about.."

[⸻ Ｓｕｒｔｒ @Daeth_Eater]

Golem had lowered its hands to the ground for the kids to get off.

Surtr walked into the cave that had a burnt bundle of sticks, clearly it’s been used.

“We’ll only stay here for a night, then we could go where your home is. Deal?”

[⸻ Ｓｕｒｔｒ @Daeth_Eater]

Her curious purplish, yellowish hues gazed at the food with a curious head tilt.

“Hm.. Well it’s nice to meet you Ryeon.”

She smiled softly, despite being in a hard situation she was still optimistic. Surtr glanced forward and spotted the cave.

“There.”

With that the +

[「 雷魔神 - リョン 」 @UNMEINOKISHIN]

"I've said it earlier but.. It's Ryeon. Hongryeon."

"You.. I'm not sure what to say. You might have an affinity for such.. I'm not so sure."

His stomach rumbles slightly..

"Ah- Sorry, don't mind me."

He'd say, slowly bringing out some rather warm onigiri from inside his coat.

[⸻ Ｓｕｒｔｒ @Daeth_Eater]

“….I don’t need the storm to leave. I don’t feel cold at all.”

She shrugged as she stared up at the sky. Her small hands stayed near herself because she can’t control her powers just yet. She felt a bit happy and by that, the lava landed on the ground, melting the snow.

“Oh-“

[𒐞𒐕𒐖𒋝 𒆸𐎣 𒀂𒀼𒇲𒆸𒀼𒔼 @UrukK1ng]

"It's candy, children love it."

Sitting down beside the little child, his hand waved up toward the sky. Causing the harsh storm to lighten a little bit.

[⸻ Ｓｕｒｔｒ @Daeth_Eater]

@A_Schizo_Boy “They just keep growing.. Proud Sarkaz’s wouldn’t hide their features.. So.”

She shrugged

[⸻ Ｓｕｒｔｒ @Daeth_Eater]

This kid stared at him as if he’s an alien. Who is this man?

“Uhm.. kinda..?”

She grabbed the candy, unwrapped it and popped it into her mouth.

“Mm!”

Her eyes sparkled!

“What is this..?”

[𒐞𒐕𒐖𒋝 𒆸𐎣 𒀂𒀼𒇲𒆸𒀼𒔼 @UrukK1ng]

"That you are a kid, in many long species life."

His hand roughened up her hair a bit, before he opened a gate and pulled out a piece of candy.

"You must be hungry, here."

[⸻ Ｓｕｒｔｒ @Daeth_Eater]

“…What are you talking about..? I am Surtr..”

This red head tilted her head, finding him a bit suspicious, since she’s a kid mentally and physically — She found him as odd.

“Also.. I am a kid..”

She’s considered a kid in her race, considering she’s young and they are old.

[𒐞𒐕𒐖𒋝 𒆸𐎣 𒀂𒀼𒇲𒆸𒀼𒔼 @UrukK1ng]

"Hm. .. your slow age puts you similar with elves and dwarves. . ."

Analyzing her body a tiny bit, assuring that she held no lies while the king's crimson gaze looked up at the golem.

"Ah, flames similar of that of Surtr. .. how boring."

[⸻ Ｓｕｒｔｒ @Daeth_Eater]

She glanced at the golem then at him.

“I’m a killer..?”

She just repeated what she heard in the past, she didn’t know what that means.

“I can’t control my powers..”

Since she’s getting anxious, her hand started to heat up and lava like flames could be seen seeping out.

[⸻ Ｓｕｒｔｒ @Daeth_Eater]

This girl’s body looked around nine, but in reality she’s 90 it’s just she ages very slowly, similar to her mental age being nine.

“Uhm..”

She was a bit hesitant or reluctant to say anything about why she’s here alone, fidgeting with the cloak she was wearing.

“Well..”

+

[𒐞𒐕𒐖𒋝 𒆸𐎣 𒀂𒀼𒇲𒆸𒀼𒔼 @UrukK1ng]

"See the end of humanity, as that was my task before my death."

He gave a sly smile, gently patting the little girl's head. his touch was like clouds.

"So why are you two out here? I see even after my death, mystery still looms."

[⸻ Ｓｕｒｔｒ @Daeth_Eater]

This little girl had small horns on her head. Her purple yellowish hues locked onto this man and glanced up at the Golem, who had no head but a halo for a head.

“…What’s your task..?”

This girl tilted her head, yes she was wary but him saying ‘King’ somehow calmed her?

[𒐞𒐕𒐖𒋝 𒆸𐎣 𒀂𒀼𒇲𒆸𒔼 @UrukK1ng]

"Do not threat, I am just a mere soul walking among the world. A king who is finishing his task."

The king spoke, gently taking a knee in front of the little girl as she was with the golem.

[⸻ Ｓｕｒｔｒ @Daeth_Eater]

This little girl was accompanied by a large golem. She was warm but it was making her not feel lonely. She glanced around and looked towards the silhouette?

“…Who are you..?”

She asked warily. She didn’t back away because she didn’t know if he’s from her townsfolk or not.

[𒐞𒐕𒐖𒋝 𒆸𐎣 𒀂𒀼𒇲𒆸𒀼𒔼 @UrukK1ng]

Through the snow storm a faint silhouette of a cloak came into view , slowly approaching her closer revealed a golden hair blonde with a cloak covering the majority of his body.

". .. Ah? A son of man?"

Seeing the little girl stick out like a sore thumb , he slowly apprached

[⸻ Ｓｕｒｔｒ @Daeth_Eater]

“I honestly don’t know how I got him.. I was just ‘resting’ in a lava pit when he appeared out of the lava..”

She glanced up at the giant then at him.

“I guess you could say he’s my guardian.. Oh, I’m Surtr, what’s your name?”

This little girl extended her hand towards him.

[「 雷魔神 - リョン 」 @UNMEINOKISHIN]

"Just.. how do you have such a companion? My mom said I'd be able to have a dragon accompany me like a guardian."

"I.. haven't been able to do that yet. Oh well.."

Sitting down somewhere and being aware of the giant's lava, he sighs in relief.

Chewing on his lip a little..

[⸻ Ｓｕｒｔｒ @Daeth_Eater]

She grabbed his hand and lead him closer to the golem and guided him to stand on the hands of the beast like structure.

Surtr sat on one of the fingers of the large hand as the golem made its way to the cave.

“Be careful of that lava. Laevatein holds lava inside of him.”

[⸻ Ｓｕｒｔｒ @Daeth_Eater]

“Okay.”

She nodded gently and turned to that stone golem and said.

“Lae.. can you take us to that cave you found the other day?”

The golem doesn’t have a head, it has two large hands and a halo in place for where the head would be.

“Don’t be scared.”

[「 雷魔神 - リョン 」 @UNMEINOKISHIN]

"..."

He felt bad, scratching the back of his head as a sort of response or reaction to such pouting.

"...I mean, a cave works as shelter.. Anything to get out of this cold, please."

He'd gently plead, placing his rifle on his back and hoping she'd say yes.

[⸻ Ｓｕｒｔｒ @Daeth_Eater]

She pulled her hands away from him, and fidgeted a bit. She glanced around the area.

“Fine..”

She sounded defeated, she was definitely pouting..

[⸻ Ｓｕｒｔｒ @Daeth_Eater]

She just stared up at this boy with a confused expression. Then pouts upon getting lectured. He sounded like those old geezers back at home..

“I got food. This big guy here gave me heat and blocks the cave entrance I slept in.”

She didn’t understand what could be so dangerous.+

[「 雷魔神 - リョン 」 @UNMEINOKISHIN]

"That doesn't matter as much as this place. It is not very good to be out here in the cold, even if you can deal with it."

The young Ryeon gently lectures Surtr about it

"Plus.. not much food or shelter here."

"And my dad? I think he's all the way in Siracusa."

[⸻ Ｓｕｒｔｒ @Daeth_Eater]

This cautious girl glances away at this golem then at him. She had noticed he was shivering, she placed her hands on his arms to attempt to warm him up.

“Uhm.. but why? We don’t know each other..”

She spoke softly with a small head tilt.

“Where’s your papa?”

[「 雷魔神 - リョン 」 @UNMEINOKISHIN]

"Hunting..? No, I don't think so. I was just exploring to find a way out of this snow."

He looks to her hand, before slowly hovering his hand near hers, tilting his head.

"Oh.. You're warm.. I see, no wonder you can last in this cold."

"Still, we need to get going."
