@wrecklessdrive1@NaithanJones@tanay_mehta Because the majority of information out there talking about AI talks about OpenAI and therefore it probably believes the answer with the highest probability of being right is OAI/ChatGPT
Remember - it doesn’t have an identity, it’s a mathematical prediction model
@wrecklessdrive1@NaithanJones@tanay_mehta To be fair it could just be hallucinating - since the by far prevailing AI is ChatGPT it may believe that is the correct answer to that question.
Sometimes I think we forget these are complex prediction algos and not actually capable of independent thought.
@imjaredz@typesfaster Cars are gone people are not. Pedestrianisation has been shown to increase footfall pretty much everywhere it’s been implemented - shoppers on foot buy more than shoppers in cars and shoppers trying to wrestle with traffic.
@SwissHodler He is also incredibly anti-china and all of his economic rhetoric and polices rely on being able to control the currency. Eg he loves to talk about tariffs and BTC would be a way around them.
@RationalArsenal@LeGrove This is classic hindsight nonsense.
Only meaningful trophy we have a chance of winning is the FA Cup - if he didn’t go full strength you’d be the first to send him the gallows be honest with yourself…
@LeylaKuni@gregorykennedy Concrete is fine for earthquakes, concrete blocks are not AFAIK. So it’s mainly a cost thing.
But not sure why we are pretending this building doesn’t have serious structural damage regardless - yes it’s standing but it’s almost certainly structurally unsound.
@JoelAlfonsoLA@MrBeast Not that complex - actual money isn’t being spent - what you’re quoting is the dollar value of the weapons (largely previous generations which the DoD wants to get rid of anyway) that has been sent.
@SteveSkojec It’s not sudden - he was waffling about this nonsense last time he was elected also.
Greenland has a huge amount of untapped natural resources, he wants to turn it into a mining base.
