The thing about COVID was that the experts were just so wrong about everything. And it was so obvious as time went on.

But admitting they were wrong would have neutered their power and prestige, so they were willing to ruin millions of lives to keep appearing on The View and hanging out with Julia Roberts.

With any other issue it would be morally appalling, but when people are forbidden from seeing their family as they lay dying and kids are robbed of their education it becomes a particular kind of evil.
