The old Pro won't daisy-chain displays. Another old industry standard. It get's worse. @Apple tech *does* work when you run #Windows on it (via #Parallels). It just needs a bit of code in the Apple OSX [Sonoma]. How #humiliating to be an Apple fan. $2.9trn value. Can't keep up!

My client's fix is a story of today: @HeartInternet Help advised how to fix a default account. Now the client can't sign in. No Help unless you sign in. No password reset. Stymied. Can't msg on X without premium a/c. AI future?

@Apple is a smart company, but some of its products are not. Consider #Dictation, which is a poor learner and hard to teach. When I dictate 'counsellor' I have to change it to 'councillor'. Since I must manually correct it, I guess it confirms to itself that it was correct.

There’s chat about fielders in the #Ashes2023. The one who invented the consummate cover and midwicket fielder was Colin Bland. He practised hard at Milton Senior School in Bulawayo in Zimbabwe (then Rhodesia). Playing for South Africa he demonstrated at Lords at a single wicket.
