I think the hardest part of the past few weeks is the refusal of many to take accountability. We (including myself) fucked up and it’s time to learn. That’s really all I want to hear.

I’ll start out- when I met with President Biden one on one 14 months ago in the Oval and he asked “how do I get the youth vote” I should have told him to drop out. Maybe I would have been kicked out of the meeting, it probably wouldn’t have mattered. But at least I would have told the President what he needed to hear instead of what he wanted to hear.

I also should have been more forceful with my fears about the youth vote and especially young men. The biggest sign that I needed to push harder on that should have been the number of sycophant-sultants who gave me shit for brining up these concerns. (Because it made them look bad and like they should have been fired which they should have been because they had no fucking clue what they were doing)

That meeting will be a permanent nightmare and lesson I will carry for the rest of my life.
