I am sooooo happy!! One of my all-time favorite players was elected to the Baseball HOF today. Congrats to Fred McGriff!! If not for the 1994 lockout, he would have had over 500 career HRs (496).

5/28/79… George Brett hits for the cycle in the Royals' 5-4 victory over the Orioles, collecting a third-inning triple, homering in the 8th, singling in the 10th, and completing the feat with a double in the 14th frame.
