Empowering minds through psychology to build mentality monsters, helping you cope, improve, and achieve success by sharing ideas and some trading tips too
How to Build a New Habit and Unlock the Mentality Monster Within You
Are you struggling to achieve your goals? Perhaps you wish to become fitter, lose weight, or run a marathon, but find it difficult to turn those dreams into reality.
The problem isn’t that you lack gifts, intelligence, or talent. The real challenge is maintaining the consistent effort required, something few are willing to commit to.
Success is a lonely road, and along the way, we all need a set of tools in our toolbox.
These tools are nothing other than your mindset and the habits you form, which can transform your life.
We are creatures of instant gratification. When we start running to shed fat, we might expect to see a 6 pack after just one training session. Or when we launch a business or product, we might hope to make millions in just a day.
However, patience and consistency are crucial. It's about putting in the continuous effort needed to gradually lose that weight or build that business over time.
The journey is often a bumpy ride. It isn’t always smooth, pleasant, or fun. This discourages many people, who fear that all their efforts might ultimately lead to nothing.
What if I spend months trying to make my business succeed, only for it to fail?
It’s true, you might not end up with a profitable business that provides financial freedom. But success isn't only about monetary returns. If you measure success by what you’ve learned, you gain invaluable knowledge that no business degree or book can offer.
Remember, business books are often written by those who have faced failure themselves before finding success. And it’s not over until you drop dead, the knowledge gained in this venture is precisely what you need to go ahead and try again to launch the business with your newly acquired insights.
There is a reason why most college programs include internships; they train you for the real world. As an entrepreneur, your internship is this; learning from a failed venture and going at it again.
Yes, you might invest a certain amount of money in your business and lose it, but in reality, you’re paying for an education in business, learning firsthand what doesn’t work and what might work next time.
Knowledge is a powerful and valuable asset. Money lost today can be regained tomorrow.
You also invest your time, which, while costly, provides invaluable insights.
Effective risk management is essential in any venture.
In a weekly thread series, I will share tips on how you can improve your life one step at a time, helping you achieve your goals.
No sales pitches or promotional nonsense, just real insights from my experience as a behavioral coach to entrepreneurs, students, and athletes.
I will introduce you to 5 methods that you can incorporate into your daily life to start a new habit.
These 5 methods are adapted from the book Atomic Habits, written by James clear, which i highly recommend for you to read
@elonmusk Maybe you should have just stuck with making cars and selling them instead of being involved politically, since most of your contracts are dependent on government funding. Your brand is tied to Tesla, and clean energy advocates and customers are your ‘woke’ gen which you burned
@WorldHallOfFun@elonmusk It’s very interesting how white people still think they are in power and dictate how countries should and shouldn’t be run around the world and how other races should continue their lives when you have china, Russia, and your brics nations all nuclear armed and way more powerful
*goes on 10 dates*
“This online dating thing isn’t for me”
*spends $1000 on ads*
“Advertising doesn’t work for me”
Losers sound like losers no matter what they’re talking about.
The right idea can solve any problem.
But stress and anxiety puts your mind in a box making it difficult to conceive the right idea.
So most of the time, the answer isn't more work, but more rest.
There is something you can do for 30-60 minutes a day that will move the needle toward the life you want (and get more results than those who work 12-16 hours a day), but you have to find what that something is through obsessive experimentation.
@HitDaWallAgain@MikeHicksX@GlobeEyeNews Entitled white peeps all on here still thinking the year is 1825 and they control the narrative and how other lesser beings should be
@MikeHicksX@GlobeEyeNews Very interesting to read the entitled behaviour of the American people thinking they still own the world when you have russia having the biggest and most sophisticated nuclear arsenal in the world, china becoming more advanced in tech than us, and your brics nations nuclear armed
this seems easy but honestly be honest, how many of us really do this or know of people doing this? most of us are quick to judge, only want to speak and have our voices heard and refuse to listen to the other, listening to the other isnt just for learning from the other, it is also to know what motives they have that could potentially harm to you, this how you weed out scammers
and the systems come down to your habits. systems are useless if you just don't show up with discipline, pull through difficult times with resilience and have the organization skills and patience to wait for your results. systems are just tools. probably put systems at 1% when 99% is psychology related
@Codie_Sanchez mind set and comfort zone, we are all not slaves to the govt or anybody else, true slaves to our mental prison we set ourselves, in the name of fear, doubt, anxiety and all things psychology
only 2 choices, either work hard on your own ideas or work for someone else's ideas, which is your employers ideas. also we are in an ai wave right now, displacing lots of employees and workers, if you are in the us, you might be made redundant if you are a govt employee as well with the doge implementation, be your own employer and pay yourself so you don't have to rely on anyone else to feed yourself and your family
staying patient also means waiting for the delayed results vs expecting results in 2 minutes. the instant gratification generation we are in is a big problem. and what makes it worst is the use of smartphones and staring at short form videos and social media whole day, fueling the habit of instant gratification
@SeffSaid thats right, always associate yourself with people who care about you and who spend their time with you otherwise dont bother, spend your time wisely elsewhere
Chronic overuse of smartphones and social media can lead to structural changes in the brain, affecting areas related to attention and emotional processing.
