Former Kenyan rugby player and ex-NFL athlete Daniel Adongo has been deported from the United States by immigration authorities.

Okoth Obado's plan was also to kill Barrack Oduor(pictured)but he managed to escape by jumping out of a moving car. His testimony later became one of the key pieces of evidence that contributed to Obado and his killer men being found guilty for the murder of Sharon Otieno.

Barrack Oduor, a journalist, had accompanied Sharon Otieno to meet Okoth Obado's personal assistant, Michael Oyamo, as a friend and for security reasons.

Oyamo had requested the meeting to discuss the baby Sharon was carrying, which belonged to the then powerful Governor. However, they did not realize they were being lured into a trap.

When Sharon and Oduor met Oyamo and colleague, they were forcibly bundled into a vehicle by several men. Flighted and sensitive to the eminent danger, youthful swift Oduor managed to jump out of the moving car when it slowed near a bump at busy shopping center and escaped, leaving Sharon with the abductors.
Mr Oyamo drunk with power and pride thought Mr Oduor was another village boy who couldn't do anything, after all to him money and power was everything.

Oduor later became a key prosecution witness in the case. He gave a firsthand account of the events leading up to Sharon's murder, testifying that he and Sharon had been lured to a meeting at a hotel in Rongo under the pretense of discussing a story about Sharon's relationship with the Governor.

His testimony directly linked Michael Oyamo, Obado's personal assistant, and Casper Obiero to the planning and execution of the meeting, forming the basis for their arrests and subsequent murder charges.
