3 yo: I saw a baby elephant with Grandma!
Me: How cute!
3 yo: Finn came out of your belly a long time ago.
Me: Yup. 7 months ago today.
3 yo: But how did he come out?
Me: The doctor helped me.
3 yo: But how?
Me: *Panics* I pooped him out
Tell me why when I went in the bathroom to help my 3 yo after pooping he was standing up and saying, "Look at my tail!" as he shook his booty with toilet paper peeping out between his cheeks 🤣🤣
*Plays three hours of Kirby*
Me: Wow, I am really beating this fast! I am CRUSHING this!! I could finish tomorrow at this rate, I’m so good.

Just to be clear, if my three year old tells you a story from when he was a baby, it’s a lie.
For example, he in fact, did not go watch WWE when he was a baby.

Three year old: Mom. I have a secret.
*Comes close to my ear and whispers*
‘Morrow morning, After bedtime I want waffles
It definitely has to happen if it’s a secret
Concerning update: The same three year old knows how to go to the Search on YouTube TV and type in W-I-P to find it. He’s going to think that’s how it’s spelled. As a reference he only can spell his name and now WIP. @Wipeout
Sept: Had a snuggly adorable baby
Oct: OB found lumps in my neck
Nov: Cancer diagnosis
Dec: Thyroidectomy
Jan: Covid for me and the baby
If you hear of me eating a lot of dips and shakes, mind your business. #exhausted
Ending the year with movies, comfy clothes, and a sick baby. Needing some comfort for this rollercoaster year. Lots of cute new baby besties but also illnesses. Life is weird as it goes on. #NoBonesDay#NYE
My 3 Y.O.: I love your neck.
Me: *Tears up. Love you too!
Processing my overnight hospital stay and a week of visible neck bandages is hard for that little ball of emotion. #checkyourneck#thyroidcancer
