The most commonly asked question about this game was "Why would a studio made of people that allegedly escaped the microtransaction live-service chasing industry end up creating the same kind of corposlop?"

The answers turns out to be because they actually didn't. It was corposlop from the start.

What this shows to me is that the gaming industry DOES listen. They do see and hear what people are saying. They ARE seeing that indie games are receiving far better reception all across the board, that indie studios are receiving more support and love from the public...

And their solution to this was not to put in actual effort and maybe som passion, not to stop chasing trends and make something people would love... no, they solution was to LIE.

To attempt to TRICK everyone into giving their new studio the same kind of support smaller studios get. Only problem is that the corposlop stench still wafted through the deception and people still spotted it. It still partially worked. Look at all the shills and the "Boohoo poor devs got laid off 😭😭😭" who whined over a poow wittle indie studio getting bullied online.

They essentially think we're all gullible idiots. To be fair, there are a lot of those, as mentioned above.

Keep calling shit what it is! They ARE listening... they just didn't reach the right conclusion yet. Eventually they might lose enough money to turn on their collective two brain cells and figure their shit out.
