I work in a remote Healthcare facility mahali dawa ni view once, gloves ni kununua, the nearest facility with an xray machine is kilometres away, people still struggle with jiggers, governor analipanga HCWs akijiskia but you're telling me that Kenya is ready for Ebola patients?
CS Duale, UHC workers appreciate progress on PnP. However, thousands still await their outstanding gratuity. Can you give Kenyans a clear payment timeline tonight? #PayUHCGratuity#CitizenTV

You’re pathetic, and your apology is just as pathetic. Let’s not pretend you’ve suddenly developed some respect for Kenyans or Africans. You’re apologizing because Kenyans dragged you for your ignorance, and had nobody called you out, you’d have gone about your business without thinking twice about what you said.
And this is exactly how you idiots still think of Africa. You were discussing immigration in America, a country with enough problems of its own and lots of rats, but somehow Nairobi became your example of everything wrong with a city. What the hell does Nairobi have to do with your immigration problems?
What annoys me even more is how casually you said it. That’s how deeply ingrained this ignorance is. To some of you, Africa is still that miserable, backward place you can casually throw into a conversation whenever you need an example of poverty, chaos or failure.
And then when Africans refuse to sit quietly and take your nonsense, suddenly you’re sorry.
You’re not sorry you said it, Rob. You’re sorry we heard you, understood exactly what you meant and refused to let you get away with it.
Keep your apology. What you need is to unlearn the garbage that made you think saying something like that was acceptable in the first place🚶🏿♀️WANTAM!!
UNBECOMING CONDUCT OF THE CHIEF OFFICER IN KAKAMEGA
This is the Chief Officer for medical services in kakamega county.
Clinical Officers conducted a peaceful procession to petition the county officials on the prolonged strike.
The Chief Officer came out hurling insults at professionals arrogantly dismissing them as 'small people' who he can't address, assaulting and threatening officials.
It seems this culture is taking root, first was Makueni and now Kakamega.
Any manager or leader who cannot control emotions is a liability to their institution.
@BarasaFernandes should fire this 'all important chief'.
All Clinical Officers in Kakamega will remain on strike and will continue demonstrating in line with article 37.
Counties are Coming up with Different payslips for the UHC Medics.
This is UNACCEPTABLE!
Our money was budgeted for and our payslips should either Remain as they were OR at least improve.
This tells you something about how uncontrollable some counties can be.
Why would a HCW in Kitui be paid different from one in Kakamega with same JD and qualifications?
@KenyaGovernors@CogChair Kindly Regularize or rather, let the UHC B e taken to National facilities.
You were given money to pay us EXACTLY as we were being paid under the @MOH_Kenya .
We shall be protesting at @KenyaGovernors for this.
We shall equally assemble at Parliament and at MoH to DEMAND for our GRATUITY arrears.
@WilliamsRuto@_KithureKindiki@HonAdenDuale@scherargei@NyikalDr
We SHALL be back to the streets!
Update:
UHC Data verification ongoing at the respective counties.
We hope that all the counties will EXPEDITE the process and make it as easy like this county, UHC Medics have already served for 7yrs under these counties.
@HonAdenDuale@MOH_Kenya@fnoluga we're waiting for our 6yrs Gratuity arrears.
@WilliamsRuto Mr President, thank you for intervening & Ensuring that ALL the UHC Medics are transitioned at 100%.
UPDATE OUR SHA Covers.
We cannot experience INTENTIONAL Salary Delays and Equally FAIL to have an active Comprehensive cover.
@_shakenya@HonAdenDuale@fnoluga
@PSCKenya just issue the letters already.
We can be seconded later after Gratuity is paid together with other CBA arrears.
OR
We can even remain under @MOH_Kenya
Since we have been treated fairly here.

@HonAdenDuale@WilliamsRuto@_KithureKindiki
The ongoing UHC Medics, Nurses, Clinical officers strike has totally crippled Health service delivery at the counties.
But @CogChair and @KenyaGovernors have found it wise to walk in silence as Kenyans continue to Die.
The prevailing issue is issuance of P&P for the UHC Medics, Payment of Gratuity arrears and the full implementation of the CBA/CPG.
People should not keep dying for the government to intervene.
We ask the president @WilliamsRuto@_KithureKindiki to INTERVENE.

MESSAGE OF SOLIDARITY AND SUPPORT
The UHC Medics , The Health Caucus and @kUCOofficial stands in solidarity with our member and colleague, Angeline Munywoki, who sustained a comminuted complete closed humerus fracture following an incident during today’s peaceful demonstration in Wote Town.
In addition to the injuries sustained, Angeline’s phone was also taken during the incident, further compounding the challenges she is currently facing.
Angeline is an active member and a dedicated Clinical Officer serving at Kisau Sub-County Hospital. She has continued to serve diligently through various programme engagements and is currently working under the prevailing UHC employment terms.
It is deeply concerning that, under her current employment terms, she does not have access to comprehensive medical cover. This presents an additional challenge at a time when she urgently requires specialised medical care.
For years, Angeline has dedicated herself to caring for and serving others, even without the security of comprehensive medical cover for herself. Today, she finds herself in need of the same care and support she has consistently offered to others.
Angeline is currently awaiting a surgical procedure tonight. We appeal to our members, colleagues, friends, and well-wishers to keep her in their thoughts and prayers and, where possible, extend support to her and her family during this difficult period.
We wish Angeline Munywoki a successful procedure, a smooth recovery, and renewed strength.
The UHC Medics stands with Angeline and her family during this challenging time.
In solidarity.

@ntvkenya As the UHC, we welcome this.
The PSC and MoH should work hand in hand to issue the P&P letters to the UHC Staff at the correct job group and ensure that other demands from the striking Nurses, clinical officers are met at 100%.
Long live the Bulldozer.
This man @HonAdenDuale deserves his flowers.
He has single handedly fixed the cartels from the corrupt NHIF to SHA that's now working for Kenyans.

Long live the carmel whisperer.
