We are pleased to announce the “Open Minds” project. Over the coming months and years, @KhwimaMchizi and I will traverse the country, beginning with universities, convening rigorous and unfiltered conversations with students and Malawians at large on issues that truly matter. Through public debates and lectures, we seek to interrogate the political, social, and economic realities shaping Malawi and the African continent, not as passive observers but as architects of change. Our objective is to cultivate a bold, intellectually awakened movement capable of advancing pragmatic solutions to our shared challenges. We recognise that the next generation of leadership must be critically conscious, ideologically grounded, and unapologetically engaged if it is to meaningfully drive development. In a society where young people are increasingly disengaged from politics and governance, this platform is designed to reawaken civic responsibility and deliberately groom competent, visionary leaders. Calling upon like minded individuals, especially young people with conviction and intellectual curiosity, to be part of the team that will bring this transformative movement to life. If you are prepared to challenge orthodoxy, engage in robust discourse, and contribute to shaping the future, register your interest by submitting a brief bio to [email protected] or a WhatsApp to 0991 70 15 97!
I am proud to stand alongside @PempheroMphande in announcing the “Open Minds” project. In the months and years ahead, we will move across the country, beginning with universities, to engage students and Malawians in candid, intellectually rigorous conversations on the issues that define our present and determine our future. Through structured debates and public lectures, we intend not merely to discuss problems, but to dissect them with precision and reimagine viable solutions. Our ambition is to ignite a movement grounded in critical thought, bold ideas, and a resolute commitment to action. We are acutely aware that meaningful transformation in Malawi and across Africa will not emerge from apathy or silence, but from a generation that is informed, awakened, and prepared to participate in governance and nation-building. At a time when many young people are retreating from political and civic engagement, this platform seeks to reverse that trajectory by cultivating leaders who are intellectually equipped, principled, and effective. We are inviting all like-minded individuals, particularly young people with the courage to think independently and engage deeply, to join us and be part of the team. If you are ready to be a part of contribute to a movement that prioritises substance over spectacle and action over rhetoric, submit your brief bio to [email protected] or send a WhatsApp to +265 991 70 15 97.

You would be shocked if you knew how many people wrote you off or expected you to stay down after your past mistakes. Some aren’t even happy you rose again, your success irritates them utterly!
Let that be your fuel. Work harder than ever!

Africa = 3% of global AI talent. Less than 1% of global data centre capacity.
49 African countries just signed a declaration on AI governance.
Are we writing the rules or living by them?
Founders, it's time we shape AI policy from this continent.

The one JAŸ-Z quote that stood out to me in his new GQ interview
“I just see the world for what it is, not for what I want it to be. I’m a realist. It’s not idealistic. People speak about the world how they want to see it. You’re never going to win like that.”
What does "infrastructure" actually mean?
Roads are infrastructure.
You don't think about them.
You just drive.
Electricity is infrastructure.
You don't think about it.
You just plug in.
The internet is infrastructure.
You don't think about it.
You just connect.
Thread.
AI intelligence is the next infrastructure layer.
The businesses that have it won't think about it.
They'll just decide better, move faster, and grow stronger.
Dalali is building that layer for African businesses.
Not the businesses that can afford Silicon Valley tools.
