I just finished Hell on my warlock having never played D2 in my life. And I honestly can't put it down, which is shocking to me because I've never been a fan of old/remastered games. I couldn't even bring myself to finish the ES:IV Oblivion remaster and that game, I shit you not, defined my early years.

I can't say for certain how much of the game was carried by the RotW update, but as it is D2 held up insanely well, and I came in fully ready to not like it.

Playing D2 when it launched must have been fucking spectacular, shame I missed that. But at least I have one more staple ARPG to add to my rotation now. 🫡
