@BYUFlorida@BrerOswald The only real issue with country bears update is whole new world. You can literally go to Philharmagic and gear that song there. Why do we need it in both shows
@ucancallmesis I guess I’m not seeing what your issue is. Some high schoolers grow full beards and look really old and some still have baby faces. It’s a pretty varied age group
@cabin6reader The front row has to lean forward to see over the railing which makes it a pain if you’re in the first few rows behind because then everyone is leaning over to see over the people in front of them leaning
@pulurself2getha Generally speaking most first tours custom build everything to be more durable, lightweight, and smaller. Broadway sets are built to sit in the theatre and last. That being said they could potentially use some smaller pieces or set dressing
@Nozes202 Its more than likely because the whole thing was done on a green screen and curly hair is notoriously hard to edit around so they cheaped out and just gave her straight hair
@trinity24601 Broadway has always had a tendency to lean into current music trends and right now popular music leans into synth-pop and electronic sounds instead of orchestral so composers/producers think that’s what people want to see on Broadway
@TheDramaPodcast Even if she jumped ship she’d be nominated in two categories and in the past it’s caused a vote split even across categories because of voters opinions on what the performer should win for
@postproctorism Broadway actors somehow always want higher wages, less shows, and more affordable pricing. It amuses me how so many of them just don’t understand how money works
@TrishaPackham@TheCinesthetic Marni Nixon did the vocal dubbing, not Andrews. She did however originate the role on Broadway with Rex Harrison who was in the movie which is why replacing her was so controversial.
@notjackwolfe Bows being filmed can be part of a shows marketing too. With Sunset they walk out all covered in blood for bows and if people see that online it makes them more interested in coming to the show
@CoasterK24 Absolutely agree. Maintenance was probably feeling lazy and didn’t wanna test two trains before handing it over to ops (happened a TON when I was there)
@CoasterK24 It’s built to be run with 3 trains and both stations going but that would mean more costs so they cut it down to 2 with 1 station usually. The time it takes to load is longer than the ride itself which causes serious problems without both stations
@oIympee My guess (possibly wrong) is that they recorded the current orchestrations as they are without any additional instruments. The current show only uses 14 pieces with keyboards supplementing lots of the instruments which just doesn’t work in this format
