They grow up so quickly! Today, our first year PhD students Emma and Michael were presenting their research projects at the @EuChemS_Congres in Dublin, Ireland 🇮🇪
So great seeing new students already involved! Welcoming Emma and Michael who attended @McGillCGSS Career After Chemistry conference yesterday. Welcome to the Damha lab!
On #DNADay, we commemorate Dr. Rosalind Franklin's Photo 51, an x-ray diffraction image that was not just a scientific breakthrough, but a revelation. It unveiled the double helix of DNA, a discovery that fundamentally changed our understanding of life's inheritance.
Building short DNA/RNA fragments by Resonance Acoustic Mixing (RAM). Thanks @JamesDThorpe and of J. Marlyn @DamhaLab and S. Koenig @genentech). Also special thanks to @TomislavFriscic lab for his encouragement and showing us the way to @Mechanochem https://t.co/widhQbZhu4
Today is @McGillChemistry Recruitment Day for North American applicants! If you are considering applying to the McGill Department of Chemistry or could not attend, here is a quick look at our Lab poster presenting our most recent projects.
On this #RareDiseaseDay, we celebrate incredible progress made in nucleic acid chemistry research towards understanding and treating rare diseases. Our lab is dedicated to driving innovation and making a difference in the lives of individuals affected by rare diseases. @mcgillu
Great Bernard Belleau Lecture today given by a long time friend of the Damha Lab, Mano Manoharan. The lecture included some great picture of a young @F_ANAtico! 🧬
Collaborative paper with @F_ANAtico@DANorDNA and Sarah Engelbeen out now in @OTSociety@LiebertPub journal Nucleic Acid Therapeutics. On optimizing ASOs for exon skipping and RT-PCR to reduce artifacts
