Jill Scott talked about how she PRESSED a documentarian kept GRILLING her about Erykah Badu and whether she felt intimidated by Erykah performing at the Dave Chappelle Block Party. So, she had to humble him by asking, “Have you ever seen me perform?” because she figured he probably didn’t know who she was💀😂😭

“On my last nerves, that was pressure, we were supposed to have a topic to discuss, so I’m watching everyone talk about whatever political thing or spiritual thing they want to talk about”

“it got to me and the guy’s like “isn’t Erykah Badu the most beautiful girl in the world, and i said “she’s very beautiful”, “isn’t Erykah Badu the most amazing singer you’ve ever heard?, i said “she’s really amazing”, “isn’t Erykah Badu” and i was like “Motherfucker, my name is jill scott”, i was like “you don’t even know who i am, do you, you mustn’t”😂😭
