Some things don’t add up here … most farmers have the equipment to quickly remove a 4-wheeler… they also have networks where they would share pictures of this and unless it came from 3 counties over, someone would know the owner… some farmers I know would just love a free quad
Farmer lives in New York
Someone stole this 4 wheeler, they filed off the serial numbers and dumped it on his property
He called the police to report it and have it removed. NYPD said he would have to pay for the tow and impound to remove it
This is what it’s like living in a Democrat state, they always side with the criminals
He says he’s not going to do that obviously, so it’s just going to sit there
Apparently this is common in places in New York where the police budget is a concern. If the vehicle is not high value or part of an active investigation, they’ll decline to pay for the towing have the property owner deal with it
Just had a conversation with a parent this morning about how one of his biggest memories from last year's Little League run was how upset the kids were at losing until they sat down in the restaurant 20 minutes later ... the restaurant staff said they assumed we had won
Watching opposing parents during summer travel baseball, I’ve always noticed lots of parents are more emotionally invested in the wins and losses than the players themselves.
Let that sink in.
If I was in charge of @LittleLeague, I would only allow one bunt attempt an inning ... All-Star tournaments are painful to watch as insecure 45-year-old men attempt to game the age group, and have every kid show bunt until they have 1-2 strikes ... these kids can hit, let them
I wonder if the transfer portal is actually a thing pushing H.S. Players to sign after being drafted… it’s really hard for a freshman to crack the lineup of a big school… super talented kids get recruited by SEC schools, but they also bring in 5th senior to same position
They are 3.5 games out of the playoffs… they should be going for it … if they play terrible for 2 weeks out of the AS break, I’m sure they’ll reevaluate
If they don’t extend him or re-sign him in free agency, then this is the kind of mistake that sets your organization back for a very long time. Call the Angels and ask them how much they regret not trading Shohei Ohtani when they had the chance.
Entry level sports are not expensive in America and the average mom/dad/parks and rec coordinatior coaching is so much better than they were 30 years ago ... because soccer has had big time participation rates for several decades now
It boggles my mind that we can produce literally thousands of football players every year that are now paid professionals basically on the backs of Dads coaching little league...but somehow soccer needs more money to pay coaches.
Every time I try to get into soccer, I’m reminded why it drives me nuts.
The dives. The whining. The soft foul calls when a tackle gets no called.
And that disallowed goal for Norway after a clear flop.
Come on, man.
#Tarpons C/1B David McCann (2-for-3, HR, BB, 4 RBI, R) paced the bats in DH G1 w/ 4 RBI, including this GW 3-run HR - his 8th HR (4th w/ Tampa). Now has 21 RBI in just 24 games in Low-A. #Yankees
