I do not understand why there’s such anger at Grace Tame for her statement.

She’s right to acknowledge individual women’s allegations of rape, & she clearly reminds everyone that there is no evidence at all of Israel’s claims of mass rape by Hamas on Oct 7.

I do not see how allegations of rape can be dismissed simply because they’re made by a Jewish woman.

From salmon to supermarkets, gas to gambling – we detected a pattern: Albanese consistently backs powerful lobbyists.

And these decisions are often against the public will – on almost every issue listed in this piece, the Albanese government has gone against public opinion. For example, more than three-in-five Australians support a gas tax, 83% say the supermarkets deserve some blame for the cost-of-living crisis, three-in-four Australians want a ban on gambling ads and 79% hold a negative view of Israel.

What's not up? Our tax revenue.

While Woodside makes an extra $6 billion in 3 months off the back of the war in the Middle East, our government continues to subsidise the fossil fuel and mining industries with the diesel fuel rebate, while refusing to tax our finite oil and gas resources properly.

We need Anthony Albanese and Jim Chalmers to stand up to the multinationals and secure a fair return on resources that belong to all Australians. We're losing as much as $50 million a day in tax revenue.

The best time to fix our broken gas tax laws was decades ago. The next best time is right now.

This man is a US citizen currently working in Australia

He is speaking here at our RC on behalf of a quasi astro-turfing group - Australian Academic Alliance Against Antisemitism - the same shadowy group that derailed the Bendigo Writers' Festival last year and targeted an Australian citizen, Dr Abdel-Fattah

The AAAAA's actions resulted in a mass boycott of the Bendigo festival resulting in millions of dollars in lost tourism, damaged reputations and complete acrimony

Once again - this man is a US citizen defending the actions and interests of a foreign government, Israel, in bombing and killing children, while, as a guest in our country, he interferes in Australia's social and cultural life and attempts to dictate how our universities are run
