Valve’s official replacement battery for the original Steam Deck LCD is back in stock at iFixit, but the price has jumped from $79.99 to $129.99, a 63% increase.

- The LCD battery (40Wh) now costs $129.99.
- The Steam Deck OLED battery (50Wh) is still $79.99, despite offering a larger capacity.
- iFixit also continues to sell a third-party LCD battery for $79.99 as a cheaper alternative.

Neither Valve nor iFixit has explained why the official LCD battery now costs so much more.
