🎶Absolutely amazing scenes in Wales as Plaid Cymru leader Rhun ap Iorwerth - set to be Wales's first pro-independence first minister - is interrupted by an impromptu rendition of the Welsh national anthem
If we were a "united" kingdom of equals, England valued the celtic nations, and we aren't just an imperial colony
England would teach Celtic languages as part of their curriculum, just as we learn English
Change my mind

10 years ago today I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
I remember it vividly. It was a boiling hot day. Mark was sitting next to me in the GP’s. It was the school holidays - our boys, then 8 and 11, were being looked after by our close friends
The doctor simply said, ‘it IS malignant’.
I didn’t gasp or weep or scream. But I was crushed
When we got outside, I did cry into Mark’s shoulder. And I swore - ‘I can’t fucking believe this’
That was the start of anxiety-inducing tests and scans and biopsies. And all I wanted to know was, is it going to kill me?’
Weeks later it became clear my cancer *was* treatable. And then I was elated - completely on a high - because that meant hopefully I would get to see my boys grow up, and I would get to grow old with Mark ❤️
I cannot tell you how INCREDIBLE the NHS and its staff were - in particular Mr Kothari, and nurses Outra and Emma. So skilled, so kind. So life-saving. I will never be able to thank them enough
It’s weird to think a decade has gone by since then. I’ve definitely made the most of life with Mark and our boys and our dogs and our magnificent friends and my gorgeous family. I couldn’t have got through it without all of them.
Oh yeah and Mark and I got married after 16 yrs of being together and our boys walked me down the aisle. God it was life-affirming
I know I am so bloody fortunate to have had a cancer that was treatable. I’m one of the lucky ones, and for that, I am unbelievably grateful every single day
literally cant think of any Welsh people with mining family who'd want to see their kids sent down the mines again.
Spot the posh English millionaire trying to understand Wales...
People have said how ironic it is, me a pro Welsh independence supporter, can’t speak Welsh.
Me not able to speak Welsh proves a vital point. English oppression over the Welsh land has killed OUR language, OUR Culture, OUR COUNTRY.
I’m fed up! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. #YESCYMRU 🏴
"Do not listen to anybody who tells you the NHS should move in the American direction.
"Our system is wildly expensive, inefficient and very very cruel."
Bernie Sanders sends a message to those looking to privatise the NHS: Get lost.
The UK Treasury has screwed Wales again!
They have now classed a railway line running for Oxford to Cambridge as an "England and WALES" project.
This robs Wales over £300m+ whereas Scotland and NI get their cash.
It's a disgrace that this is still happening after the HS2 robbery.
Hat tip to @LibDemDavid for discovering this.
Huge congrats to one of our clients and all round good guy @aaronwain97 on picking up players player of the year award for the dragons this year. And all the best for the summer tour to Japan 🏆🏉🥸 #waino
Preparing for move into new office and sorting through old documents. Found the Initial drawings I did for the logo I wanted (very rudimentary 🤣) final design by @Gafyn Gafyn Townsend who nailed it 💯. Hard to believe this was 12 years ago 🤯
I don't think I dislike anyone more than I dislike Farage. A con man, a grifter, a liar and a fascist.
What appeal, if any, he has to anyone who considers themselves to be Welsh is totally beyond me. He is the very definition of the wealthy, privileged British establishment.
Reform have said they will not name a Welsh leader ahead of the Senedd election in 2026.
Instead they say they will elect a leader afterwards?!
IMO this is incredibly disrespectful to Wales.
They are telling the people of Wales: "Vote for us, but if you do, you'll only find out who your First Minister will be after we win".
Imagine going into a General Election not knowing who the Prime Minister would be if you voted for a party.
I keep hearing about hard working people.
My Dad did 43 yrs down the pit (we were 7th? generation miners)
They powered this country + both Wars we continually brag about.
Paid tax until he died of lung disease.
He didn't inherit the pit.
So nobody gives a toss.
Just saying.
