Track is America’s Opportunity Sport

It’s America’s cheapest & largest HS sport, providing the most accessible pathway to college

Due to the House settlement, many colleges will likely start cutting Olympic sports. We cannot let track be one of them

We’re all in for @AngieNixon with a brand new ad one week out. We’ve been riding with her since day one, and @WorkingFamilies is here to the finish line.

[Ashleyy @dontsippy]

After what these people did to Zohran and Now Abdul. We will remember in 28. They are not the only ones who can vote.

[Russell Dinkins @DancingDinks]

Wow Glenn Greenwald really hasn’t tweeted a thing since Lula won. Incredible

I want to see Dem primary candidates run on extraditing Zuckerberg to Brazil.

[austerity is theft @wideofthepost]

- didn't come across like a nursing home patient when he debated flavio twice
- had jair arrested and convicted to 27 years in prison for insurrection instead of dicking around with merrick garland
- called Israel's assault on gaza "genocide" instead of sending 14000 2k lbs bombs

The key to understanding the modern right is that it wants a return to a system where your income determines how many votes you get.

Maybe US Presidential Elections need runoffs

It'd prob have avoided 2016 and maybe 2024

El wey que no es "ni izquierda ni derecha" cuando gana la izquierda:

[Jack Dart @JackWDart]

Flávio Bolsonaro wants Brazil’s election annulled because, he claims, Lula “changed the rules halfway through the game” by extending voting hours.

There’s just one rather inconvenient detail. Bolsonaro’s own campaign ALSO requested an extension!

His request covered specific areas, while Lula’s was nationwide, but both wanted voting hours extended.

Now, having lost by 4.4 million votes, he wants the result overturned over a measure his own campaign supported.

Quite extraordinary.

[Andrew Fishman @AndrewDFish]

Flavio screwed up by opening his mouth after winning the 1st round. He got cocky, acted like he'd already won. His team started talking about what he planned to do. It freaked people out and turned enough undecideds against him. His actual policy ideas are very unpopular!

[jønny @jonnycollage]

The only downside to a Lula victory is all the braindead Bolsanaro evangelicals who are going to move to Florida now.

[Alan MacLeod @AlanRMacLeod]

One of the best parts about Lula's victory in Brazil 🇧🇷 is watching in real time all those Polymarket/Kalshi bros eat shit and lose their money.

[JJ @bryndensraven]

😭😭😭 11 years she waited

[Libnex @Libnex_]

Lula has won a nearly insurmountable challenge: from being behind by 2 million votes and endorsed by none of the remaining candidates, the methalworker and historic union leader has defeated the far-right Bolsonaro family again. Why?

[Russell Dinkins @DancingDinks]

@PostLeftWatch Yeah I haven’t seen him tweet at all. Interesting/revealing….

[Russell Dinkins @DancingDinks]

@KarthikForTexas And they already did their own Jan 6 on Jan 8 a few years ago 😅😩

To everyone celebrating Lula’s reelection victory, I just want us to all acknowledge Erika Hilton right here. She’s a Black trans woman who became the most voted congresswoman in Brazilian history this cycle and has been campaigning nonstop for Lula in the second round

[Pat Just Pat 🍉 @PatTheSocialist]

To the beautiful people for Lula, thank you! (you're all beautiful)

[Russell Dinkins @DancingDinks]

For my fellow Americans who are excited by Lula’s victory but want to know about Brazil’s political system, here you go…

@iilhakyoshi Absolutely. I feel like he had to have coordinated/been connected to the halting of flights and public transit.
