If Oas*s reform they should do just 2 things: play Definitely Maybe all the way through as loud as they possibly can. Play a bunch of Noel's b-sides. (I suppose they could play one of those dreadful songs from WTSMG if they have to). Then get out of there as fast as they can.
Here’s a nice clip of Stewart Lee singing The Go Betweens’ lovely Eight Pictures with The Girl With The Replaceable Head tonight. It was such a good gig, and I found it really inspiring! Didn’t take any other videos sadly. The new LP sounded incredible.
We are so excited about this! Both IN THE APRIL SUN and THIS WORLD COULD BE SO MUCH FUN are coming on CD via the ace @subjangle soon! Delighted and honoured to be with such a great label!
Our wonderful friend @DanCorns has made this wonderful, sharp, atmospheric new video for our song, Shooting the Moon, which is kind of about getting older, fading light, tending a garden. Thanks Dan!!!

If you are going to End Of The Road this year I am collecting up some stuff about the bands they have announced on this thread 🧵 so bookmark it or something.
@thhamilton I remember Ed Miliband choosing ‘Angels’ on DID. He plummeted in my estimations as a result.
I felt that either he had gone along with some advisor group think about whats the sort of song ordinary people like OR he genuinely liked Angels by Robbie Williams.
Here is another overlong thread with a few thoughts on last night's @blurofficial show, which was obviously wonderful. I suppose this ramble serves as a kind of LP review too. Short version: hooray, it was utterly wonderful. Longer version follows...
A couple of days of living with the lovely new @blurofficial album and am predictably obsessed. Russian Strings is one of the most interesting things on it I think - heartfelt and intimate and wide ranging. Have been trying to draw out what Damon is saying - indulge me?
Without getting too hung up on intrusive biographical detail, it’s hard to resist trying to figure out what the location in St Charles Square tells us when trying to understand a fairly cryptic new @blurofficial song. Once again, it’s West London, of course.
@invadarecordsUK@jonathas Was lucky enough to meet George on a few occasions and film him for a video project. Lovely guy, he had an extraordinary life and there wasn’t much he didn’t know about vinyl and also 78s of which he was Brighton’s last redoubt. Lots of famous customers too!
@JenMalarkey Hello Jen, I’m a videographer with nothing on tomorrow evening. Would be very happy to come along with my camera to your friends exhibition. Dan
#ExtinctionRebellion made a powerful point in wealthy central London today. Rich consumers were left frustrated at not been able to reach some of their favourite stores and the drum bands played on as I watched residents in flats above throw water down on them. #ClimateCrisis
I do hope this tattoo on South African born American/British and now Slovakian Olympian Golfer Rory Sabbatini isn’t that of the Afrikaner nationalist symbol 🤭. #Olympics#olymipicgolf#bbcolympics
