@SharonW27908658 @Annabel61736453 @CaptainDick12 Are they really though? A single stats class poll isn’t representative of “young Canadians”.
It wasn’t the most recent poll but I saw a video last month going over a poll showing that LPC voting intentions were falling in every group except retirees.
@RyneldStarr@DasHeibz@PierrePoilievre@theJagmeetSingh I agree Singh would be a better PM than the other major party leaders. I wish he would stand up for average Canadians and pull support from the Trudeau government
@WBrettWilson This is really an indictment of Nova Scotia, given their high equalization payment per population despite having relatively large economic capacity.
@terry_truchan Two reasons:
1) they want an election sooner and hope a Trudeau resignation would be followed by a general election
2) those who don’t care so
Much about party but want a better leader and government than JT is offering
@Concern70732755 I support deportation only if they are not likely to commit a dangerous crime in their home country. If our jails can hold them securely why should they “get off” with a crime and just be sent home?
@blechtimes @alanytan@ztisdale The CPC doesn’t run provincially.
There is an issue of provincial governments reducing funding to municipalities though.
@alanytan@ztisdale Is this the cities as a whole or just the “best” parts of the cities where the wealthy live and foreigners visit?
If slums have been eliminated in Indian and Chinese cities this is awesome but at this point I’m sceptical of your claim.
@Concern70732755 Are there any colleges/universities that publicly don’t take in more foreign students than they did ten years ago? I would find that to be a more attractive school to attend. We need to really shame schools that admit excessive international “students”.
With all the banning of historical figures who contributed to residential schools why has the Montreal-Trudeau airport not been renamed? #yul#PierreTrudeau#everychildmatters
@redwate03066981@zcstocks@PremierScottMoe GST replaced a 13.5% Manufacturers Sales tax which was hidden from consumers and made businesses less competitive in international markets.
I would support raising GST back to 7% so that it can cover all of the federal debt servicing cost.
@therealmrbench I’m no expert but I think Canadians would be more supportive of Carbon taxes if federally they were implemented in a similar manner to how the North America leading government of Alberta had implemented its carbon tax: it applies only to large emitter companies.
@EmilyVanHolman @JohnColeman1970@MadHabber Cool story. While this is true the federal government hadn’t really helped provinces make things better, unless you count granting excessive visas so foreign students can subsidize education and lower wages businesses need to pay.
