A huge thank you to everyone for the kind thoughts, gifts and well wishes.
We have loved being part of your children‘s lives and being able to get to know so many lovely families.
We will miss you all!
Mrs Beddard & Mrs Empsall
Wraparound have been making treasure maps and planning simple routes to find the hidden treasure.
They used Mrs Beddard‘s and Mrs Empsall’s cold tea and coffee to make their maps look old.

We have had lots of fun painting our very own treasure boxes and filling them with home made jewellery.
We made our own choices regarding colours, shapes and sizes and further developed our small motor skills.

We have been exploring our very own ‘Treasure Island’, searching for gold, making an anchor and walking the plank.
Developing our physical skills to match tasks and activities.

Too much screen time can limit chances for children to talk, play, and connect. Powerful, simple chats and playful moments can be key for building language and boosting later learning. ✍️

#LessScreenTimeMorePlayTime
In today’s digital world, screens are everywhere, but too much screen time is having a detrimental effect on young children's development. The team behind '50 Things To Do Before 5' have launched a new campaign #LessScreenTimeMorePlayTime to support families. @DaneRoydSchool

We have been learning about fire fighters this week.
We painted a lovely red fire engine and then used our handprints to paint 5 fire fighters, saying one number for each finger in order as we printed.
