@SymbioteSerg@clevercolt64@shinobi602 It doesnt and probably won't have the sustained success that destiny had. Rivals is one of those games that has a really cool premise to bring people in, and it uses a familiar and unoriginal format of another hero shooter that won't last. Destiny has been profitable for 10 years
@Danny2KYT@NBA2K Thoughts on the myles Garrett trade? For an nba comparison it would be like if the nets had prime wemby and they traded him to a championship favorite like okc and they got back some picks and a 25yo chet
@Destiny2Team@A_dmg04 I implore you to re-consider this change, I was personally looking forward to re-grinding tiered Raid armor specifically BECAUSE I assumed it would have access to the Raid mods, and by removing this feature the solo/lowman/speedrun community suffers.
Having the ability to slot these mods on updated armor would create an even more incredible incentive to re-grind because of the stat combinations you can make as well as the set bonuses too, please.
I'm holding out for the next big #Destiny3 petition signature announcement until we hit the big 3 with several zeroes. I'm holding onto hope we do it today.
Nothing is stronger than the Destiny community aligned.

If Destiny 2 is never getting another update, then here are some things that I want
1. Bring fishing back permanently
2. Unwieght pvp maps
3. Bring old pvp maps back
4. Make trials have more maps
5. Make a new gambit map or bring back the old ones
Anything else?

For almost twelve years, we have had the joy and honor to explore the Destiny universe with you all. Through all the ups and downs, surprises and triumphs, building Destiny alongside our players has been a monumental privilege. While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2.
As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio.
Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to.
Weโre proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. Because of you all, our universe is vast, built on years of shared stories, adventures, and victories. From the Cosmodrome to the Pale Heart to the Lawless Frontier, we have forged life-long memories and friendships with you all.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made that journey with us.
From the deepest part of our hearts, thank you, and we'll see you in the stars.
@Brokendekay@itsHecticc Bungie didn't abandon Halo fans they were done making Halo games. They only made them because they promised Microsoft they would. If a game company finished a series and then made another did they abandon the first one? No, they made something new.
