The secularisation of mental health has meant that we too often misdiagnose (or at least fail to fully account for) conditions which are so clearly of a spiritual as well as psychological nature
When an emotional response seems out of proportion you may have triggered something that lives inside that person’s body from the past.
They may not even know it’s there.
1. It is not yours to take on.
2. It helps you understand them so you can promote their good.
