The last 3 years summarized in one picture.
Family, study, a pandemic, and cancer. It’s been a long, long road to get here, but now I get to be an Emergency Physician. @acemonline@MonashHealth
I’m about to return from 5 months of leave. I’ve had time for mental, physical and emotional rest. My colleagues have not. We’re all carrying this anxiety, all the time. For ourselves, and our teams.
@nursey67 @DrSimonCraig@ACEMPresident Totally agree @nursey67 but I still breathe a sigh of relief when I see you on the floor. Thanks for everything you do, and the amazing attitude with which you do it.
Radiotherapy finished!
Many thanks to the wonderful staff at @GenesisCare and @Cabrinihealth for your wonderful care, and accommodating me even when dealing with #COVID19
After 4 months off work for cancer treatment, I was rostered for my first shift back yesterday. And we have a baby due any day now. And then this happened.
@DrSimonCraig I’ve been lucky enough to have a copy of one of these for every tough (non-neonatal) paediatric resus I can think of. I have no doubt the cognitive offloading has made for better outcomes, and I’m very grateful. The inclusion of a neonatal version is a great step forward!
@NicholasChrimes Absolutely! But visual confirmation (2 sets of eyes on the screen) of tube between cords would- in my book- be confirmation enough for me to think about machine error ahead of operator error. Or do you think otherwise?
