@I_AM_WILDCAT@Top100Rick Multiple practice swings, mulligans, looking for a clearly lost ball, watching your buddy hit before going to your ball, re-teeing instead of dropping, waiting for the green to clear then topping it. There are SO many other things that slow down golf more than a line.
This just reaffirms my belief that alignment lines on balls should be banned.
Takes forever. And even for a video can’t even align it correctly! (Most players can’t.)
And the tests show it doesn’t make players make more putts. Complete waste of time.

@Top100Rick I don’t think a line on a ball is a big cause of pace issues. There are plenty of other things that slow the game down. As a line user, I’m always the first person ready to putt the ball. It’s guys that think they are pros lining up from 5 directions, line or not.
