@MistahKelly@2Cool2Blog That's not exploitation. In business, they call that scaling. And, when people scale, it's not uncommon to take bank loans that require repayment. I see no difference in this case.
@stinky_linke @selmilastoxic @evergreencass The Ime Udoka situation comes to mind also. I'm definitely not a troll. I can tell you just wanted to use a gif
@gibbv315 @evergreencass @AndiesJustTired So in these discussions, the men shouldn't be villainized exclusively. If blame is to be doled out, it should be done so fairly.
@gibbv315 @evergreencass @AndiesJustTired Before social media/the internet, work was one of the main environments people met up in. Countless relationships have come from workplace interactions. And yes, I did want a better understanding, but no one has made any of this clear
@gibbv315 @evergreencass @AndiesJustTired People hump the people they work with. Happens everyday, in every industry, in every part of the world. I just hate when only one party gets villainized for a relationship, two parties agree to enter. It doesn't seem fair.
@gibbv315 @evergreencass @AndiesJustTired I think the snl bit was commentary on the parasocial dynamic of the try guys' fandom. The emotional investment ppl seem to have in a consensual workplace relationship is a bit overblown...to say the least.
@tickticktardis @AndiesJustTired @evergreencass Women reject sexual advances all the time. They're pretty adept at it. I find it rather convenient that these advances magically become irresistible when they come from men in positions of power.
@AndiesJustTired @evergreencass Not if that stranger offers up that information for public consumption. It kinda sounds like she messed with a married man.
