We've just released our plan for housing.

It'll mean that whether you're buying your first place, upsizing or downsizing as life changes, or renting, there'll be a place you can call home - at a price you can afford.

And this is why: a couple of years ago, the sewer system gave up – and the experts say it would be impossible to bring these 1960s buildings up to standard.

So with help from the Federal Government, we're going to rebuild them with more social housing than was there before.

We're going to build another 769 new social housing homes in Victoria.

And we're getting started by completely rebuilding these towers in Carlton.
