My 2026 #NBA mock draft. I got my @warriors taking Carr out of Baylor, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we take Lopez or Graves at pick 11.

BREAKING: The Miami Heat are finalizing a deal to send Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors for Andrew Wiggins, Dennis Schroder, Kyle Anderson and a protected first-round pick, sources tell ESPN.
@BayAreaBaller18@GSWBallReport It takes a lot to match Jimmy’s $48M salary. You’d need to include Wiggins, Melton, Kuminga, Santos and whatever draft picks it takes to get the deal done.
Of all the @warriors 2024 NBA draft workouts, my favorite player is Blake Hinson from Pitt. I haven’t seen him on any mock drafts or big boards, but he should be in consideration for pick 52.

I’d be sad 😢, but I’d understand why Klay may leave for the Orlando Magic.
1) More money and less taxes
2) Able to join a surging playoff contender in the East
3) Proximity to the Bahamas, which will be a focus of his philanthropic work once his basketball career ends
Klay Thompson and the Magic have mutual interest heading towards free agency, per @ShamsCharania on @RunItBackFDTV.
Orlando will have around $40 million in cap space to offer Thompson a deal the Warriors aren’t comfortable matching.
My only comment on the Steve Kerr drama. Every GSW draft pick before 2021 has had less success or fallen out the league after leaving. Grass isn’t always greener.
2016: McCaw, D. Jones
2017: Bell
2018: Evans
2019: Poole, Smailagic, Paschall
2020: Wiseman, Mannion, Jessup
@BayAreaBaller18 I’m interested to see him play with CP3 and accept a Blake Griffin role (screen & roll, baseline cutter). In these highlights, he’s operating as the dominant ball handler coming off a screen. I don’t think that’s his role, but it looks good for the highlights.
