My best friend is the daughter of a refugee
Growing up I didn’t know what the term refugee meant, but I knew @DANIELLEBKNYC & her mother were like my second family.
Today, Danielle’s murals can be found across NYC, adding to the rich diversity of this city.

Thanks @TRTWorldNow@frankucciardo for having me on to talk about the devastating impacts of the conflict in Sudan, including for the more than 100,000 people who have been forced to flee the violence to neighboring countries.
