Posting cause I think it’s pretty. I think it’s important to give my patients a controller that they can be proud of and is easy on the eyes. Cord management is a crucial learning curve to building these setups! #xboxadaptivecontroller@MSFTEnable@Xbox#soeveryonecangame

Yes totally!! So many of the modifications I use often started as crazy looking contraptions like this haha. Looks like a craft project gone wrong haha. Anything to get these folks back to gaming 🎮 🕹️
Gonna share some positivity this evening. Last week, I learned how to use keyboard & mouse on the Xbox console and was blown away. Can’t wait to apply this accessibility feature with my patients! 💻 Specifically one-handed gamers!
Keeping an open mind as we wait to hear what will be allowed. I’m thinking of every adaptive gamer I’ve had over the years unaware that in 2 weeks their ability to play their Xbox will be taken away. Microsoft has always supported A11Y so I expect them to come through on this too
At AbleGamers, our mission has always been steadfast: to ensure that people with disabilities, regardless of their capabilities, can immerse themselves in the joy of gaming. It is with this commitment in mind that we voice our deep concern.

A simple setup! This patient enjoys traveling to their friends house to play video games, so I searched high & low for a backpack and lap tray combo so they could easily travel with their controller. Peep the quad friendly zipper loops #xboxadaptivecontroller#A11Y#XAC
If you’re wondering where I go to find adaptive gaming resources to learn how to do something new, here are some YouTube channels I use:

• Special Effect
• Microsoft Gaming Accessibility Team
