This is an absolute Greenbelt level scandal. Call your MPP - demand answers! How do the Provincial conservatives get away with changing laws to benefit "half a handful" of big chains to the detriment of hundreds of independent shops (who are the vast majority of the industry) especially while so many other things are broken yet ignored!?!?

"Vassos said of roughly 1,800 stores in the province, 1,600 are operated by independent, small business owners.

He said the changes offered no benefit to those small stores. “There’s too many other urgent matters that are out there for us,” he told Global News.

Harrison Jordan, the founder of Substance Law, a company that represents cannabis stores, said the changes would only help “half a handful” of big companies."

The customer asking for highest THC doesn’t want to hear an explanation about why that’s not the most important thing, their mind is already made up before they walk in the door. It would be foolish to not cater to both types of consumers as a business.
