In 2025, CODY ROBERTS from Wyoming, horrifically abused and killed a young female Wolf. He chased and ran her down with a snowmobile, an act that sparked national outrage and underscored the urgent need for stronger protections for Wolves and all wild animals.
A grand jury has indicted Roberts on felony animal cruelty charges who faces up to two years in prison and fines of up to $5,000.
Roberts appeared in court where he pleaded not guilty. The trial is set for March 9, 2026, in Sublette County District Court in Pinedale.
Let’s hope he gets a long time in prison 😡😡!
In France, abandoning a dog is more than just irresponsible — it’s a criminal offence. People who leave pets behind or neglect them risk prison time and heavy fines.
Recent reforms have strengthened protections: pet shops will no longer be allowed to sell cats or dogs — only animals available for adoption through official shelters will be allowed.
Owners must also sign a “commitment contract” before adopting or buying a pet. This contract outlines the responsibilities and needs of the animal, helping curb impulse adoptions that often lead to abandonment.
These measures underscore France’s growing commitment to treating pets as sentient beings deserving protection, respect, and lifelong care — not disposable commodities. #fblifestyle
@gibsonlpdlxx@TweeetsOfDogs I have been homeless with 14 dogs & 4 cats, and I never gave up. I saw all of them through to their last breath, but that was the commitment I made with my cat and Wolfpack. Much love to you and your beautiful dog! 💞🙏🕊
