@davidyelland@ManCity Great content but the excessive farewells across the board in the last few weeks veered into ridiculous. A guard of honour from an opposing team during a match is absurd. Significant for City, but these lads are moving on, they’re not ill or retiring in challenging circumstances.
@irish_pics Roddy Doyle isn’t the right choice. Need someone with more energy who’ll draw Keane out more and set up a few lines he can’t resist. Felt Doyle did nothing to create any real insights or bring the best out in Keane.
Loved the physicality and needle between Gabriel and Haaland and the fact EH didn’t go down after the nudge with the head. Our 7 yo’s @ManCity mad and @ErlingHaaland’s a great example for young fans like him.

If it’s good enough for @McIlroyRory it’s good enough for @BelmontOnline. Perfect setting and service for our 2026 planning and strategy day @ Dunluce Lodge, Portrush this week.
Almost 11pm and just saw a huge, bright green flash over Holywood. It was like broad daylight for a few seconds. Going by other examples online it looks like it might have been a green meteor?! Have never seen anything like it. 🔭
When Rory McIlroy won the Masters to complete the Career Grand Slam earlier this year, a big story was Bryson DeChambeau saying he didn’t talk to him all day. Rory has now commented to say that before the round he thought Bryson would be the biggest impediment stopping him from winning, and his mind coach told him to “make him invisible.”
Talking to the Shotgun Start podcast, Rory said:
“I felt like that was going to be the toughest thing I would have to deal with that day, was just Bryson himself. Just the way we completely, we are polar opposites in terms of how we approach the game.
“So, I felt like he was going to have a portion of the crowd and I was going to have a portion of the crowd and then just having to deal with that a little bit.
“And I said that to (Bob) Rotella, we always met just by the caddie area before I went to the range every day, and he said “how are you feeling today?” And I said, “I’m feeling good, I’m feeling good about my stuff.” I said to him the one thing that I’m just uneasy about is just the pairing, and he said “well, just make him invisible.” I said “well, what do you mean?” And he said “just don’t engage, don’t look at him, just get lost in your own little world. You’ve got Harry beside you, just have him be your companion and you just get lost in that world.” And that’s what I tried to do.
“But I was, yeah, that was the one thing. I felt like that was the biggest impediment between me and winning the Masters, that day. You know. And then once it was apparent that wasn’t going to be the biggest impediment, then I made myself the biggest impediment.”

“I want to play here. I love it here … I feel like I’ve got two homes now in New Orleans and Mayobridge.”
#Saints kicker Charlie Smyth on making a game-winning kick in front of the home crowd.
Plus, players and HC Kellen Moore share their confidence in Smyth.
I’d like to congratulate @RyderCupEurope on their victory. Your team play the first few days was sensational.
More importantly, I’d like to apologize for the rude and mean-spirited behavior from our American crowd at Bethpage.
As a former player, Captain and as an American, I am ashamed of what happened. #RyderCup
