1/3 Respectfully, No, Mr President. America is not great when we threaten conquest. I support our military, and I support you. I admire much of what you have accomplished, and I’m grateful for your passion. Please don’t conflate America’s grratness with conquest.
2/3 Competition and cooperation are both valuable. The threat of military force to promote peace through strength (even mutually assured destruction) has utility. Conquest is a word too far.
4/4 From environmental+biotechnology to #HumTech and now my role in the #NurseEngineer, the art of the Vatican museum has continually inspired my journey towards #TheVanishingPoint.
1/4 #ThrowbackThursday Reflecting on the concept of the #vanishingpoint, I recall a moment nearly 25 years ago while touring the Vatican museum. It struck me that our current reality and our vision for a better future coexist in art.
3/4 This profound realization sparked the development of #Vshaped professionalism & gave birth to my research in #humanitariantechnology. It became clear to me that modern disciplines should be preserved, not blurred, while pointing towards a shared future - vanishing points.

Thrilled to see the names of these incredible folks celebrated as among the most recent 40 under 40 awardees from the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists. Such a wonderful testament to the future that is still to come. Congratulations and my very best, Dan
3/3 My simple goal is to offer every student the opportunity to demonstrate mastery of course #knowledge, #skills, and #attitudes. It’s possible to earn an A in my course with a zero on the optional exam Monday morning.
1/3 Why am I preparing an optional exam for 8am Monday morning for Fundamentals of Environmental Engineering at Missouri S and T? #MST#Environmental#Engineering
2/3 Because I respect the diversity of students who attend our university. Some enjoy a four day weekend each spring to celebrate the St Pat’s holiday. Others are focused on class work 24/7/365. Effective teaching welcomes the diversity of student learning styles.
