What a photo sent to me by a member of the @NEAStaffUnion: Scabby the rat on the doorstep of @neatoday in protest of @BeckyPringle and NEA union leadership locking out its staff for multiple weeks.
Promoting union values abroad in Argentina while underlying them at home by locking out its unionized staff now at the end of the 4th week. But we remain committed to demand a fair contract no matter where @NEAToday leadership is.
@eduint@BeckyPringle@NEAToday Why would Education International elect a union buster as Vice President? Locking out staff isn’t very friendly toward educators at large
@BeckyPringle But @NEAToday continues to struggle to retain some of their most talented staff. Locking out @NEAStaffUnion surely isn’t a show of respect that will encourage staff retention
@PaulBlartL0LCop @DCist @PaulBlartL0LCop 1) I’m not busy but I won’t make it 2) I assumed you were linking to free pancake day until I saw the article title
This is appalling. This will result in divestment & closure of schools important to their communities and accelerate privatization. The administrators tasked with improving underperforming schools have enough difficulty in hiring staff without their names besmirched nationally.

It’s fitting that today marks 10 years on Twitter because nothing brings me back to college like the fire alarm going off at 4 am and the fire department not being able to turn it off despite there being no fire
NEW: CMPD detectives fear someone is targeting Black trans women in Charlotte after two women were killed in 11 days. Police are urging all LGBTQ sex workers to exercise extreme caution. We will have more on this in the days to come.
