@Azrael4544 @RoaringRagnar A retest just adds extra confidence because it shows previous resistance became support and buyers defended the breakout, and breakout was less likely to be a fake out. But in strong reversals, price can simply break the neckline, and keep running upward
never retest. Cope harder

@Azrael4544 @RoaringRagnar No, it does not always need to break the neckline and retest it to confirm a bottom. First bottom forms, price rallies to resistance (the neckline)
Second bottom forms near the first low
Price breaks above the neckline. It happens on the breakout above the neckline with volume.

Just because you’re sour and waiting for 45k like a dummy, doesn’t mean the bottom isn’t it. You should have been accumulating.
