Conservatism is essentially a defunct ideology now. It hasn’t made an effort to actually conserve anything in decades, and most so called ‘conservative’ politicians are bland corporate stooges and basically closeted liberals. It has largely become a cringe online movement hijacked by commentators to make a career for themselves by grifting and bemoaning the status quo, whilst simultaneously rejecting any attempt to revert anything.
