We recently got to take this little girl to the beach for the first time in her life (my best buddy’s daughter—they’re from out of state) and talk about fun!! We found hermit crabs and sea anemones! 🤩 #Learning IsFun
It made me so happy to look up while on a recent family outing to see our eldest son sweetly holding our youngest daughter’s hand. He’s going back to college today and she said she’s going to miss having him at home. 😊 💙
I appreciate the positive direction, celebration, and learning today at our Back to Work event! @hilz2teach thanks for the great #EduProtocol PD! #RomoShines
To be informed by a student that she credits me with helping her rediscover the love of reading is definitely a wonderful way to end the school year & begin summer break. I love my job! My students’ reading abilities = ⬆️ ⬆️ 🎉 #LiteracyMatters#Reading#FocusOnGrowth
7th grade holiday lunch activities today were hilarious and fun! Thanks to the student leaders as well as Mr. Ramirez, Mrs. Santiago, and Mrs. Kennedy for making this happen!
Based on a post I read about students wanting their teachers to understand the power of AI...I compiled a survey from students around the globe on how they are using AI ...here are some of the interesting results.
The results are surprising, and I analyzed the data with the help of Chat GPT
I am so pleased with my students’ reading growth that I can’t quite find the words…
Suffice to say most of them did their best on the latest reading skills assessment and it shows! 🥹 📈↗️#FocusOnGrowth
@rosalyncarrol19 @HarvestHawks@RomolandSD Some of my best memories are from the chants and celebrations you led with the students, glad to see you’re still at it, they love and appreciate it! 👏
Students benefit greatly when we provide safe and appropriate ways to let them share their experiences and simply who they are.
We have two students on a committee I’m a part of this year and we all love to hear them share their insights and ideas.

“Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone”
William (on the right, 8th grade) and his friend took 2nd & 3rd places respectively in their first ever road bike race this morning in Temecula. 👏 Thank you Stage 2 Cyclery in Murrieta for mentoring and supporting these young riders! #RoadBiking#YouthSports
Huge thanks to the counselors, teachers and leaders at our school for hosting the fun, informative, and positive activities and events! (#AVID college fair, grade level competitions, book fair & lots of student face painting and other school spirit fun!). @ChaseScorpions 🤩 🎉
This is not the most scientifically accurate video about #Capybaras, but it’s pretty fun…and I’ve decided I want to be a bit more like them since they are the “chillest” apparently! 😃 #FridayEve
Student leaders collecting raffle tickets to reward their peers for keeping up their agendas. The kids love this and some of them have remarkable organization skills which they get to share! 😊 📝📆 #AVID#WICOR#middleschool
