WATCH: ADC national youth leader Senator Dino Melaye inspecting some of his constituency projects.
And his people in his constituency are suffering... First Nigerian 👇👀🙆
@LegendaryJoe@OgbeniDipo Could you have expected anything better from Oyetola who cont'd in the footsteps of his principal and ruled out paying any outstanding which @davido 's Ucnle has cleard&continued to pay outstanding gratuity&pensions. Osun needs ppl who know the pain points not importunists 3/3
@LegendaryJoe@OgbeniDipo I was in Fakunle Comp High Sch and all schools were on strike for more than a year during Adebisi Akande the crying Governor (e ba m be won). The Rauf(artisan) demolished Fakunle for a shopping mall, what a low lifer and paid half salaries perpetuated by SSG Oyetola 2/3
@LegendaryJoe@OgbeniDipo Write-up clearly shows you do know what has gone down in that state since it's creation. Perhaps you lived elsewhere other than Osogbo or anywhere around Osun state. Pointing Adebisi Akande who was only able to build the Governor's office as his own achievmt 1/3
I BELIEVE @NatashaAkpoti 💯💯💯
In a sane country, Godswill should tender his resignation. But No, he won't!
Nigeria is a den of corruption.
I hope her family is safe, though.
#AkpabioMustGo
Watch this video of how the person believed to be the next incoming prime minister of Canada uses basic maths to show the current PM is incompetent.
Here in Nigeria, we voted for a man who openly mocked and boasted that “shey na statistics we go chop”. https://t.co/cKk0glFWx3
@GuardianNigeria Judiciary will never cease to embarrass Nigeria even when they are in the spot light with the on going case about "Nigeria and Its Criminal Justice System"
The painfully hilarious part is that this entire shameful Kemi fiasco started after the Nigerian government in its usual predictable uselessness tried to ‘famz’ a successful nigerian in the diaspora, like they always do, and she turned them down.
Because clearly she will not allow parasitic criminals who are govt opportunists to use her success as a British politician to whitewash their well-known blatant incompetence.
Since that time, it has been an Olympics of tantrums and a tirade of attacks from the government and their brainless cronies on social media.
I have always maintained, and I still maintain quite strongly, that the job of the nigerian diaspora commission is not to loiter joblessly on the internet looking for successful Nigerians in the diaspora to lick their ass for validation and leech on those people’s success. Successful accomplishments by these distinguished Nigerians abroad which is mostly and largely in spite of Nigeria and not because of Nigeria.
The moment they heard of Kemi’s accent to the top of the Conservative Party in the uk as its leader, the nigerian govt started trying to leech themselves to her and reach out to her, she shunned them and like deprived entitled clowns, they started throwing tantrums and raining attacks on her.
Nigerians in diaspora will run into trouble and call for help from the nigerian govt, many of them are ignored and abandoned to be terrorised by many hostile foreign nations for alleged crimes that they never committed, the few times the shameless commision will even attempt to help, it will be cases of high profile people or cases that get a lot of social media noise (like the Tems and Omah Lay wrongful arrest saga in Uganda few years ago).
A government that fails to stand up for its citizens abroad when they need help but is quick to chase those same citizens in the diaspora for public validation when the citizens make something meaningful out of their lives. They tried the nonsense with Kemi and she shunned them, instead exposed their uselessness on a bigger global platform, so they are crying and wailing like the ignored clowns they are.
Instead of the govt to accept its L in peace, admit that this woman is not ready to participate in their delusional madness of attempting to use her to whitewash their uselessness and simply let her be; they want to turn her to a pariah and engineer a national attack on her. Shameless fools.
If someone doesn’t want to associate with a failed corrupt useless government, is it by force? Shey dandan ni?
You can’t blackmail anyone into patriotism. And nobody can successfully de-market a good product.
Fix the country. Leave Kemi alone.
You incompetent criminal morons.
Do your jobs and fix the damn country.
Kemi is not the reason Nigeria is a mess.
If you fix the mess, people like her will have nothing to say.
I fully agree that Chief Afe is a colossus who has accomplished incredible things in law and business. He absolutely deserves to have his reputation defended, and it is fair to hold Dele Farotimi accountable to justify his sweeping comments—but not in a criminal court. That’s my issue.
If speech can be criminalized because of this excessive case—knowing how the Nigerian government operates—it sets a dangerous precedent where anyone who speaks out against the government could be arrested and jailed for cybercrime or criminal defamation.
My point is that we must not allow the government to exploit Chief Afe’s genuine grievance and his right to demand proof from Dele Farotimi as a backdoor to criminalizing free speech for everyone. You know how it goes—if they succeed with this high-profile prosecution, it’s a done deal for anyone who dares to comment on corruption or government actions in Nigeria. Even minor libel cases could result in people being remanded in jail.
They’ve already been pushing the boundaries, but with this Dele Farotimi case, they’ll establish it as a norm—and we can’t let that happen. Sir, this is no longer just about Afe vs. Dele; it’s about safeguarding free speech. We must stay vigilant. Let them take him to civil court and people like me will have no objections at all
@palmpay_ng Ur company is the most useless of them all…..my #80k since last year July has still not been reversed till now. I have been tossed here and there by ur officials and agents, but to no avail.
