If you believe the KJV corrects the Greek, then you don't believe that God preserved His word for people before the KJV. I'm not sure how that isn't easily understood, but I recently got pushback from an intelligent young guy when I said that in our conversation.

For some reason the algorithms have decided that I should be interested in purchasing a new Chevy and the majority of adds that I hear are from Chevy dealers.
These adds have been, to say the least, not great at all.

@si_baoluo So far when I've asked that question they say that they don't think the originals have errors. They don't even seem to want to say that the originals are incomplete. And they will even say the originals are perfect. But the KJV is still better than the originals.

I heard this argument today:
God gave his word. It was perfect when he gave it. He preserved it and purified it 7 times. The KJV is better than the Greek because of the purification.

@si_baoluo Funny, because this man said the same thing but in a different way. "How many people are going to hell while we waste time teaching people Greek and Hebrew?"
Which, of course, is not something that is often happening.

@si_baoluo To be fair, he wasn't saying that they need to learn English to read the Bible, but that the KJV is what they should compare their Bibles to, and not the Greek/Hebrew. So, they can have the Bible in their language, but not as perfect as the KJV.
