If Keir Starmer does resign, history will look back on his reign and scratch its head as to why the hell he was so hated.
On paper, he's probably delivered more to working British people in such a short time than any PM for decades.
After inheriting an absolute mess: NHS waiting lists fallen. Worker's rights improved. Rail operators nationalised. Improved relations with EU and improved UK's global reputation. Removed non-dom tax status. Halved childcare costs. Boosted state pensions. Lowest homicide rate in 50 years. Lifted 550k children out of poverty. Immigration vastly reduced.
We are in the age of billionaire funded misinformation, whose sole purpose is to topple democratically elected leaders, and insert leadership that favours the wealthy elites over the working people. Looks like the game plan is working...
I have 3 people close to me who suffer from bipolar disorder.
One of them (a team member) tragically took his own life.
He was an extremely talented and normally quiet young man, trained as an accountant.
His symptoms in manic episodes were consistent with Ye’s. He would go on public anti-Semitic and racist rants on social media.
He would always emerge from these episodes with deep shame. Apologising to me, his friends, family and our team for his behaviour.
There was not a bad bone in his body.
One time I had to hunt him down in London in-person in the middle of the night to try to help save his life.
Anti-semitism is abhorrent and unacceptable.
But mental illness is extremely complex and if we don’t have a path for treating and helping people with disorders like bipolar - unfortunately will we have many more people take their own lives.
The UK govt should let Ye into the UK or it sends a very negative message to millions of people who suffer from similar conditions.
Rest in peace Alex - I know you have finally found the peace you were looking and I’m sorry the world could not provide it to you. ❤️
"Hey Nigel... quick one but the media are getting a bit noisy about the Nathan Gill/ Russia stuff... Are you able to just chuck out a tweet about trans people and The National Trust or something? Probably worth chucking in a 'vegan' too for good measure... yeah, cheers boss."
The UK Treasury has screwed Wales again!
They have now classed a railway line running for Oxford to Cambridge as an "England and WALES" project.
This robs Wales over £300m+ whereas Scotland and NI get their cash.
It's a disgrace that this is still happening after the HS2 robbery.
Hat tip to @LibDemDavid for discovering this.
Man in black top tears into Reform and calls out Brexit for the disaster that it is #BBCQT
"I find it incredible what Richard Tice is saying"
"What we've seen with Brexit, under every single metric our country is poorer"
"Everything we do on the outside of that is just nibbling away at the edges"
"When people say we have no money in our pockets, Brexit and what you and Nigel Farage stood for has caused that"
Richard Tice, "Absolutely not"
Fiona Bruce, "Hang on. Richard, you have to let people have their say"
Man in black top, "When you're talking about the Indian trade deal being an issue. Hang on, I thought you said we have to trade with the rest of the world, there are big opportunities"
"And as soon as there's a deal with another country, you're complaining about it"
"It's hypocrisy at it's finest"
"We've been duped as a nation"
"Brexit was the biggest con, sanctions on ourselves, and it's affected every single facet of life"
"The EU is our closest trading partner and we've lost so much because of it, and we're suffering because of it, and that's a fact"
"When people say we knew what we voted for, this is what we voted for, we voted to make ourselves poorer, in the name of perceived sovereignty"
Nigel Farage spews some anti immigrant rhetoric
Keir Starmer crushes him in his reply
But also look at the MPs behind Farage shaking their heads in disgust
Shawn Levy's #StarWars film starts shooting this Fall
• Starring Ryan Gosling
• Standalone film
• Set around 5-6 years after Episode 9
• May bring back some Sequel Trilogy characters
Keir Starmer, "Russia menaces our online spaces"
"Do you want to know what Nigel Farage and Reform are doing on their rare visits to parliament?"
"They're voting against our employment rights bill"
"They talk the language of workers rights online, and on the doorstep, but they voted against banning fire and rehire"
"They voted against scrapping exploitative zero hour contracts"
"They voted against sick leave, maternity pay"
"And they want to charge people to use our NHS"
"They claim to be the party of patriotism but they're fawning over Putin"
"They are not the answer for people in Britain"
Very funny that Michael Oliver heard someone telling him he had a great game and immediately knew there was no way it could be sincere. Less funny that he's so insecure that it led to a red card. He knows what he is.
Chris Hope, GB News, "Why don't you order a national inquiry to join the dots between the 50 towns?"
"Are you concerned it might expose failings of your role as director of public prosecutions? And that's why Elon Musk says you were complicit in the rape of Britain"
Keir Starmer, "You were covering crime for The Telegraph when I was director of public prosecutions, you were quizzing me at the time, for the entire five years"
"You looked at my record as I was doing the job. You have access to all of the material"
"Unlike some Tory politicians, I'm not tweeting about it or talking about it, I got on with changing the system"
"The victims suffered terrible abuse, sickening, unspeakable abuse, and then they weren't listened to, that has to be taken seriously. That's why I made the changes that I did in criminal justice"
"On the question on another review, there have been a lot of reviews.. This doesn't need more consultation.. It just needs action"
"Why didn't the last government, the Conservatives, implement the Alexis Jay Inquiry Report requirements?"
"For ten years we've had reviews, did the Conservatives act? No - They're now tweeting and talking about what they think should have been done"
That is quite some headline @MailOnline…..
Does the poll “predict” that Starmer will be out of No 10 within a year?
I’m sure you know the answer already, but indulge me while a do a small 🧵looking at what the poll ACTUALLY shows!

19 years later and Revenge of the Sith's opening is still incredible :)
Imagine if they release the 4 hour cut of the movie and we get even more of the battle
Little Pippilotta has come so far. And she isn't one bit angry. Given what has happened to her she is one of the most gentle souls you'll ever meet.
My friend Sybille has done all the hard rescue and we @wearehappydoggo are finding her perfect home 🥰🙏
