Trading has a brutal way of exposing the person behind the strategy.

You call yourself patient—until price moves without you.

You call yourself disciplined—until three valid setups lose in a row.

You call yourself rational—until your stop gets hit and revenge starts looking like a strategy.

The chart doesn't need to know your weaknesses.

Uncertainty brings them to the surface.

You think trading tests how well you can read the market.

It's actually testing how you behave when the market refuses to validate you.

Your entries reveal your patience.
Your risk decisions reveal your restraint.
Your response to losses reveals whether your rules are real or merely convenient.

Trading doesn't just expose your edge.
It exposes everything that interferes with it.

5 disciplines Jim Rohn practiced every day:

1. Read for 30 minutes
2. Write in his journal
3. Practice his craft
4. Review his goals
5. Guard his associations

Success isn’t one big leap. It’s small things repeated.

If you get addicted to things easily, you have one of the rarest traits there is.

Most people can't stay interested in anything for more than a week. You can lose 6 hours to something without noticing.

Right now that goes to games, feeds, and whatever hooks you first. That's the only problem.

Pick one hard thing actually worth being addicted to. A skill, your body, your work. Give it the same obsession for 2 years and you'll pass people who've been at it for 10.

Arguing over text is the worst way to argue because the lack of tone decreases the meaning of the words. Talk it out in person.

I wish somebody would’ve taught me this before I started reading my Bible.

If you want to know who Jesus is, read the book of John.

If you want to go deeper into your identity in Christ, read the book of Ephesians.

If you want to learn how to live in holiness in a GODLESS culture… read the book of 1 Corinthians.

If you want to have wisdom for life, read the book of Proverbs.

If you want to know the origin of the universe and everything that exists, and why the world is broken today, read the book of Genesis.

If you want to understand the Gospel and learn what you should believe as a Christian, read the book of Romans.

If you want to understand why life without God has no meaning (even if you achieve success, status, money, and pleasure…) read Ecclesiastes.

If you want to learn how to find joy in the midst of your trial and suffering, read Philippians.

If you want to hear how the church was born and what the first Christians did through the power of the Holy Spirit, read the book of Acts.

If you want to learn how to put your faith into practice, read the book of James.

If you want to learn how to pray with honesty, even in the midst of lament, read the book of Psalms.

If you want to see a preview of what will happen in the future and remind yourself that, in the end, Christ wins every battle, read the book of Revelation.

St Jerome was right when he said: “The Scriptures are shallow enough for a babe to come and drink without fear of drowning…. and deep enough for a theologian to swim in without ever touching the bottom"

You CANNOT read the Bible and not have it change your life.

Some of you don't need to end the relationship, you need to downgrade it. One of the biggest mistakes I think we're making with our relationships is believing that we only have two options. Staying close or cutting someone off. But there is a third option that we don't talk about nearly enough, and that's that you can reorganize any relationship you have in your life. Maybe this person can't be the close friend you hoped that they would be. Maybe a relationship with a sibling, for example, is never going to have the emotional intimacy you wish it had. And maybe there are certain subjects you simply cannot discuss with one of your parents without the relationship going off the rails. And trust me, I know that there can be real grief in accepting these things, but accepting the other person's limitations doesn't have to end the relationship. You can instead downgrade it and maybe that means you just see them less often. Maybe instead of spending an entire weekend together you meet for lunch or maybe you stop going to this person for emotional support, but you can still enjoy going to a baseball game together. Or maybe there are a few subjects you just respectfully decide are simply off limits. You're not pretending that problems don't exist, you're just changing the conditions of the relationship so that the parts that do work have a chance to survive. And I think that's a really important part of social health that we just are not talking about enough, because part of having a rich, connected life is accepting that not every relationship is going to become what we hoped it would be. And not every relationship needs to become closer and not every difficult relationship needs to disappear sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is accept the relationship for what it can be, limitations in all instead of ending it because it couldn't become what you wanted it to be.

Even if you go back, you won’t belong there anymore. Some places only feel like home because of who you were when you lived in them. But time changes you, experiences reshape you, and the version of yourself that once felt comfortable there may no longer exist. You can return to the same streets, the same people, the same memories, and still feel like a stranger. Sometimes you don’t miss the place itself, you miss who you were when it felt like home.
